Gardens were good. Used to be a god place..very friendly.
Having to climb up the stairs to the room. Dirty towels, The television went out in a storm and we left after 4 days because they did not restore television. We have two small children and had to spend time in the room while they rest.....and no televison. When we confronted management they did not seem in any hurry to fix the problem and actually lied to us telling us all the hotels in the area had the same problem. My brother was stayiong at the Masa Inn 100meters down the same road and their tv was fied the same day as when the storm. They told us to leave if we didn't like it. The breakfast is shit and out on the street with AC/DC playing .... just what you want to wake up to.. We needed a kettle to boil water and the hotel did not respond. We had to tee up a deal with one of the staff members to hire a kettle from him. Massa in down the road is better. La Walon used to be a good friendly place to stay...it has turned to shit with the new management and staff.
Good location at decent price. Friendly staff Good sized room and bathroom
Air conditioning was very poor, noisy and I think was even blowing out hot air Hot water in shower stopped working Breakfast was pretty basic only being able to choose from 3 similar meals
They were doing renovations and didn't post anything on there website. I had two email chats them and still they didn't give me that information. When I complained about the constant noise they were dismissive and rude. I will never stay there again or recommend anyone I know to do so.
La Walon is a very nice hotel in a good location in Kuta, just 10 minutes walk from the beach. It has an excellent bar and restaurant. The room I had was great - good size and very comfortable.
Everything!!! The service & hospitality was beyond excellent. Youy get nothing but politeness, fast & excellent service everytime & I would definitely recommend this place for young families. We have four kings & we could confidently let them be independent along Poppies 1 because everyone is family based & trusting (our kings range between 13-9y/o)
Not really a single bad word to say. All positive!! Thank you La Walon!! ;))
Value for money, close to shops and resturants
Pool was a bit cold
Spacious room. Excellent frig and aircon. Large comfortable bed.Good sized wardrobe with plenty of hanging space. Enjoyable food at restaurant. Pool, lounges good. Good TV. Friendly staff.
No screen for shower which meant bathroom floor flooded. Although adequate lighting the room seemed a bit dark. Safe in room O.O.O. Valuables kept at reception in sealed envelope.
friendly staff and nice location
not like the facilities in the room, especially the toilet and bed... really terrible
Good location.. Large rooms with good fans and a bath tub. They provide towls and soap
Bed bugs The breakfast was not as good as the first time I stayed here 2 years prior. Although the room was quite large and comfortable, I did get attacted by BED BUGS. I informed the reception of this and they said they would talk to a manager............and nothing was ever done about it. I spoke to 2 seperate staff members. For the money. I probably would not stay here again
The location is perfect!! Good for family trip and there's swimming pool.. Good room and clean.. Close to beach and shopping,restaurant,bar..
location was good, and the staff were friendly
the room, air conditioning wasnt working properly,
Swimming pool. Good location.
Really dirty room which hadn't been used for long time. Unusable bathroom (water was brown for some minutes when we came in, and excessively dirty). Reported to the staff which came and noted that everything was normal. First staff met not welcoming. Free suttle bus service only available if you stay more than one week.
Staff very friendly. Near to the beach n my favorites restaurant bamboo corner. Simple breakfast but delicious.
Not a new hotel. Few years ago I been c this hotel b4. I book 3 rooms but my room hot water hv problem.. Even the staff come to my room repair already but sometime the hot water can't work. The water hv some smell like just filters from the sea. Toilet facility bit old. Towel not clean.
The architectural style (Bali/Hindu motifs; a nice, vacation-like "feeling") and vegetation (tropical yard + pool) were better than I expected for this hotel category. The location, food and service were ok. I'd stay there again.
The bathrooms (and I had a De Luxe room on the highest floor, No. 113) are absolutely not sufficient for a hotel of this category. My bathroom smelled after shit (sewage) from the water outlet, most of the time. The shower was not in a separate cubicle (it was together with the toilet and washbasin in one unit, as it typical for cheapest hotels). So the floor in the whole bathroom got wet after each showering, also in the front of the toilet and washbasin. Too cheap. The bathroom lacked a window that could be opened (the owners could change the small window there to open). I would have welcomed some more shelves where one could put his things. I'd have welcomed mosquito nets/screens on the door and on the bathroom window (if it was open-able). For little additional costs, I could advise this hotel's owner(s) to make a much nicer hotel out of it (esp. The bathrooms and more windows).
It is close to the downtown. Nice staff.Good price.
No shampoo, few towels, no hair dryer, bad wifi connection. Some hours without electricity.
